What we collect
When you make an enquiry, we collect your name, work email, organisation, sector, timing and the commercial question you choose to submit. Please do not send confidential third-party or sensitive personal information before an appropriate agreement is in place.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, assess whether Elligren can help, recommend an appropriate scope and keep a record of the conversation. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a possible contract and our legitimate interest in managing relevant business enquiries. We do not add enquiry details to unrelated marketing lists or sell them.
Storage, recipients and retention
Enquiries are stored by our website hosting provider and may be processed by our email delivery provider when confirmations are enabled. Access is limited to people who need it to respond or operate the service. We retain records only while they are needed for the enquiry, a resulting client relationship, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Retention is reviewed regularly and records that are no longer needed are deleted.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to our use of your information. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Contact us first if you would like us to address a concern.
Website security
To protect our enquiry service from spam and abuse, we temporarily use your network address and email to generate short-lived pseudonymous rate-limit counters. The counters expire within 20 minutes and are cleared during subsequent requests. They are used only for service security, not advertising or analytics.
